My Universe Diary ("the App") is a personal diary app developed by PHAM VAN DAT. Your privacy matters deeply to us. This policy explains clearly what data the App handles and how.
All diary entries, photos, tags, and settings you create in the App are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and local file system. We have zero access to your diary content.
The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) to help us understand how the App is used and to fix crashes. These services may collect:
This data is anonymous and does not include your diary content, name, or any personally identifiable information. For more details, see Firebase Privacy Policy.
The App may request access to your Photo Library to let you attach photos to diary entries. These photos are stored locally on your device only and are never uploaded to our servers.
The App may request access to your microphone to record voice notes attached to diary entries. Voice recordings are stored locally on your device only and are never uploaded or transmitted.
The App offers an optional pattern lock and biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) to protect your diary. Biometric data is processed entirely by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework on your device — we never access, store, or transmit your biometric data.
The App offers optional in-app subscriptions (e.g. Pro features) processed entirely through Apple's App Store via StoreKit. We do not collect or store your payment information — all transactions are handled by Apple.
To verify your subscription status and unlock Pro features, the App receives transaction information from Apple StoreKit (such as product ID, purchase date, and subscription status). This information is used solely to enable Pro functionality and is not linked to advertising or analytics. For details, see Apple's Privacy Policy.
Use of the App and its subscriptions is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
The App displays ads via Google AdMob for users on the free tier. Pro subscribers do not see any ads.

If you decline tracking via the ATT prompt, AdMob will serve non-personalized ads instead. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Data shared with Google may be used for ad personalization and frequency capping. For details, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and AdMob & AdSense Privacy.
For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the App displays a consent dialog (powered by Google's User Messaging Platform) on first launch, asking for your consent to use third-party advertising services.
You can update or withdraw your consent at any time via Settings → Ad Preferences inside the App.
You can delete any diary entry at any time from within the App. Deleting the App from your device permanently removes all locally stored data.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
